Two more new releases

Tarantura just released Rainbow Friday Night.  Covering the August 28th 1981 show at the Budokan Dai Hall in Tokyo, it is a three disc box set with a booklet, limited to 200 copies.  The first disc has the (unnamed band’s) opening set, and the second two discs has the Rainbow show.

King Crimson’s DGM website is taking pre-orders for their latest installment in the KCCC silver pressed CD series.  Live at the Marquee, August 10, 1971 is, according to the website, “Arguably the greatest find in Mister Stormy’s trawl through the Crimson archives: uncovering a previously unheard set on the second night at the band’s stint at The Marquee.”  Having a perfect soundboard recording for the Islands line-up, my personal favorite, is tremendous news and worth checking out for all fans of the group.

  1. Well, I shall not be buying a Rainbow show with only 2/3 of interest to me.
