A short while after the Desert Trip shows, their releases have continued to come thick and fast.
Goldplate’s “In The Desert: Desert Trip Weekend II” is either a 2 CD or 1 BDR release recording of the second weekend show – the less varied of the two shows with a more standardised setlist. The BDR also features ‘extra videoclips’ from unknown sources.
“Desert Trip 2016: Weekend 2” is a new 3 CD set from Smilin’ Ears covering Paul McCartney’s second show to silver disk. Featuring collaborations from Rhianna and Neil Young, this audience recording also features a two source matrix of 17 tracks as a bonus.
Unrelated of a kind, Goldplate’s other release is ‘Welcome To Las Vegas’ is another 2 CD (Audience matrix) or 1 BDR release of the bands show at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, NV on October 22nd, 2016. The BDR also features ‘video extras’.
New from the Xavel label, a collection of 3 double CD sets of the Scorpions recent tour of Japan.
The first, with the simple title of “Japan Tour 2016 Live in Tokyo” features the bands show at the Zepp DiverCity Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan on the 6th of October, 2016.
“Japan Tour 2016 Loud Park 16” is an audience / IEM matrix from Saitama Super Arena, Saitama, Japan on the 8th of October.
Finally, “Japan Tour 2016 Live in Osaka” features an IEM / Audience matrix from the Grand Cube, Osaka, Japan on the 11th of October, 2016.
