Led Zeppelin – Hats Of To St. Louis (no label)

Hats Of To St. Louis (no label)

St. Louis Arena, St. Louis, MO – February 16th, 1975

Disc 1 (75:22):  Rock and Roll/Sick Again, Over The Hills And Far Away, In My Time of Dying, The Song Remains The Same, The Rain Song, Kashmir, No Quarter

Disc 2 (67:45):  Dazed & Confused, Stairway To Heaven, Whole Lotta Love, Black Dog, Heartbreaker (includes Shame Shame Shame)

Hats Of To St. Louis is a  minor, no label effort from Europe, limited to only five hundred copies.  There is no more back ground information available.  It uses the excellent soundboard release that first surfaced on St. Louis Blues (Empress Valley EVSD – 316/317/318), St. Louis Blues (Eelgrass EGL 20120/21/22) and Rock St. Louis Roll! (Godfather Records GR 592/593/594).

The sound is alright and the concert is great.  However, the manufacturers cut “Trampled Under Foot” and “Moby Dick” to fit the show onto two discs.  With complete versions available, there is no real reason to obtain this title unless you absolutely MUST have everything from Zeppelin.
