Graf Zeppelin also return with two new titles; ‘NEWPORT JAZZ FESTIVAL, NEWPORT, RHODE ISLAND, USA 6TH JULY 1969’ features one of the Zepplin’s earliest recorded shows on two disks – the first a stereo source with the missing elements patched in from a more complete mono source, the second is a mono source with ‘very good sound’. Also featured are radio promo spots of an unqualified vintage.

Their second release, ‘NEWCASTLE 1969 PLUS’ is a 3 disk set featuring the classic Northern England show along with excerpts from the Mothers club, Birmingham, West Midlands on the 22nd March 1969 and also – from across the pond – Merriweather Post Pavilion, Columbia, Maryland, USA on the 25th May 1969. The sound for the Newcastle show is ‘good to poor’ (!). The third disk features a vinyl rip of their debut, “LED ZEPPELIN” of the US Promo White Label LP (SD 8216).
