The Tarantura label have recently announced two new releases from contemporary Japanese tours.
The latest is “I Love You Budokan, It’s Time To Say Goodbye”. Eric Clapton’s latest shows at this revered venue – The label note these recordings as the 99th and 102nd shows that Slowhand has played at the venue. Presented over 4 CDs by taper, Cheap Winos, a relatively new name to recordings, we have to assume that these shows were chosen for quality.
The second recent release is of Bob Dylan’s concert on the 12th April, ‘23 at the Tokyo Garden Theatre. “Ultra Rare Truckin’” is one of the shows where Dylan unveiled a cover, this one the song that gives the set it’s name, the Grateful Dead’s, ‘Truckin’’.
