New Eric Clapton and Led Zeppelin

Eric Clapton - Live At Heartbreak Hall

In honor of Eric Clapton’s 50th Anniversary as a professional musician Tarantura are releasing Live At Heartbreak Hall (EC-84) from Festival Hall, Osaka, Japan on October 1st, 1977 from an unreleased Mr. Peach tape.

Over the past couple of weeks quite a few labels have released their versions of the recently discovered Led Zeppelin Paris show from December 6th, 1969 at the L’Ecole Centrale – Piston 70, Chatenay-Malabry.

Led Zeppelin - No Cancellation

Led Zeppelin – No Cancellation! (Akashic AKA-35) is a 2CD set in a gatefold cardboard sleeve with 100% surface noise removed.

Led Zeppelin - This Is Jimmy

Led Zeppelin – This Is Jimmy  (Boleskine House Records BHRCD-8) is a 2CD set that comes in a single paper sleeve.

Led Zeppelin - LZ au Gala

Led Zeppelin – LZ au Gala de L’Ecole (Graf Zeppelin/LZSC-015A/B/C/D) is a 4CD set that contains two versions of the tape, I will assume.

…and both Centralien on Wendy and Les Rendezvous De Paris on Empress Valley (no scans available) have been released as well. As a Zeppelin collector, this can get confusing and costly trying to decipher which to invest in. We will do our best to get a few of these reviewed here but if anybody has heard multiple versions please post your thoughts.
