There are several interesting new releases coming out of Japan next week. For the late Gary Moore is A Thing Of The Past (Shades 303). This is a 3CD set with the January 31st, 1983 show at the Koseinenkin Kaikan, Tokyo, Japan and the February 1st, 1983 show in Shibuya Kokaido, Tokyo, Japan.
DIO Hammersmith Trilogy (Shades 301) contains soundboard tapes from three shows at the Hammersmith Odeon in the eighties: October 5th, 1984, May 13th 1986 and December 5th, 1987.
Heaven & Hell Live At the Edge Of The World (2DVD) contains the Broom County Arena, Binghamton, New York show on September 5th, 2007 and the M.E.N. Arena, Manchester, UK show on November 9th, 2007.
Led Zeppelin Long Tall Sally: Royal Albert Hall 1970 Alternate Footage is a DVD with alternate footage from the January 9th, 1970 show.
Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience Celebrating The Music Of Led Zeppelin is a soundboard recording from the Verizon Wireless Theater, Houston, TX, on November 16th, 2010.

Having been lucky enough to attend on of the JB LZE shows this past Fall, I am very happy to see a release coming out from that magnificent tour. I’m also curious about the supposed alternate RAH Zep footage because there obviously was film from various angles during that show that didn’t make it on to the official DVD (as was the Knebby footage).
