Disc 2 features sessions and outtakes.

This features two bonus tracks from BBC “Tonight” TV Programme, Broadcasted on May 12th, 1964 and ATV “Hallelujah” Programme, Recorded on May 14th, 1964 (never broadcast).

This 2cd Freewheelin’ collection looks very promising. The no label people have already released a 1 cd compilation of the radio promo disc and outtakes, so I can only assume this is an expanded edition with improved mastering. No doubt the official Dylan ‘Bootleg Series’ will eventually cover these recording sessions, but until then this looks like the next best thing. Plus, there is always something cooler and more cutting edge about the bootleg version of such things! (The spirit of the ‘Great White Wonder’ lives on …)
