News and new releases

Paul McCartney Things We Said In Denver on Audiofon is a one disc title with the Novemer 1st, 2005 soundcheck in Denver.

Virtuoso have three Genesis silvers coming out next week.  Dijon 1978 contains the June 3rd, 1978 France soundboard that was released several years ago by the same people as Big Jim Must Be Mad on Sirene.  Quite why they’re re-releasing their old Sirene Genesis catalogue isn’t known.

Windy Day Southampton is a two disc recording with the Southampton 1977 soundboard.

Definitive Trick has the well traveled Pittsburgh 1976 radio brodcast.

  1. Gotcha. Thanks Gerard. As a completist, I’ll probably end up getting all three of them, so I’ll post my thoughts.

  2. The Genesis Southampton has never been pressed and it will be the only one of the new Genesis titles to be reviewed. There are no plans to review either the Dijon or Pittsburgh releases.

  3. Looking forward to hearing what’s up with these new Genesis titles. Hopefully Virtuoso has a reason to re-release Dijon, and hopefully Pittsburgh is indeed “Definitive” (I have Highland’s A TRICK OF THE STAGE and it’s pretty good). Has the Southampton ’77 soundboard ever been released on silver?

  5. We will post reviews of the Clash titles soon. The Rolling Stones, as far as I know, will not be reviewed (sorry).
