Deep Purple – Budokan 1973 Original Master (Darker Than Blue 277/278) is a 2CD set from Budokan, Tokyo, Japan on June 25th, 1973 listed as “Upgrade & Longer”. Previous releases of this concert from Darker Than Blue include Budokan 1973 (Darker Than Blue 199/200) and Definitive Budokan 1973 (Darker Than Blue 249/250/251/252), the latter a four disc set featuring two different sources.
Deep Purple – Definitive “The End” (Darker Than Blue 279/280) is a 2CD set from Koseinenkin Kaikan, Osaka, Japan on June 29th, 1973. This is the 3rd release of this show by DTB following “The End” (Darker Than Blue 031/032) and “The End” (Darker Than Blue 201/202) and is a supposed “Upgrade”.
