New Empress Valley titles.

The Empress Valley label have ramped up production after the summer holidays with some startling new releases!

Bob Dylan “Los Angeles 1978”, recorded on the 1st of June 1978 from 1st generation Mike Millard tapes at the Universal Amphitheatre, Los Angeles, CA has also been booted recently by the No Label group with a follow up shooting up by it’s side.

“Los Angeles 1978 #2” comes from the 3rd of June, 1978, also from the same tape stash, has been recently been copied too. Lets hope it’s not the last we see from THESE recordings.

Paul McCartney, “Closed Circuit Concert” is a Bluray-R, DVD and 2 CD set of Macca’s Tokyo Dome concert on the 7th of March, 1990.
The show repeats on both the Bluray and DVD disks, with the audio alone catered for the listeners not the watchers.

The Rolling Stones are catered for in a way by a recording from the Charlie Watt’s bands show at the Aoyama Spiral Hall, Aoyama, Tokyo, Japan. Listed as the “2nd Show”, it was played on the 17th of September 1991.

Finally, Led Zeppelin fans rejoice – a new transfer; “The Great Return of Zoso” features the groups shows recorded at the Falkoner Theatre, Copenhagen, Denmark on the 23rd and 24th of July, 1979 over 4 disks. Apparently a great new transfer of these audience tapes.

  1. That cover photo of Charlie Watts actually won an award. It was taken by Jill Furmanovsky for The Sunday Times (UK newspaper) and Charlie sent her a note afterwards saying CONGRATULATIONS. I always loved that shot.
