The Empress Valley and Xavel labels have grabbed more recordings from Macca’s recent tour of the Far East;
‘One On One at Tokyo Dome’ is part of a series of triple disk sets recorded at the venue beginning with the show & soundcheck on the 27th also featuring recordings from the 29th and 30th. Each feature the same cover design albeit in different colour ways for each night. Recorded from audience recordings on an omni directional microphone.
New label Silent Hills have brought out two x double CD sets one from the Budokan on the 25th of April, one from the Tokyo Dome on the 27th of April. These are also both audience recordings without the soundcheck party.
Available separately in two CD sets or a a large 7 CD set featuring 1 DVD & 1 Blu-Ray, ‘2017 Japan Tour – Tokyo 3 Days’ from the Xavel label has Jon Anderson’s, Trevor Rabin’s and Rick Wakeman’s Yes shows from the Bunkamura Orchard Hall in Tokyo on the 17th, 18th, 19th of April. The DVD & Bluray features footage from the show on the 18th. A bonus CD features audio from the three days soundchecks too.
