New Rolling Stones ’65 release on Dog ‘n Cat!

After a short exchange of delivering some releases from the Stones 2013 / 2014 tour, the Dog ‘n Cat label have released something with a little more 60’s flavour.

“In Action: German Tour 1965” features audio from the Stones trips to Europe.

The set begins with a, er, Dutch show from the Kurhaus, Scheveningen, Netherlands on the 8th of August, 1964. The show has seen release before on the VPG release, “Ready Steady Stones”. This release features the first song from the show that hasn’t been bootlegged so far, ‘Beautiful Delilah’

Moving forward to 1965 we have two shows from Germany, the first at the Ernst-Merck-Halle, Hamburg, West-Germany on September 13th 1965 – this is either the 1st or 2nd show, the voters are still out there (This show was originally released earlier this year on the Red Tongue CD / Vinyl set, “Live In Hamburg 1965” but hasn’t been booted since)
The second at the Waldbuhne, Berlin, West-Germany on September 15th 1965 – More commonly known as ‘The Riot Show’.

The disk is finished of with a rehearsal take of, “Not Fade Away” from rehearsals for the Stones appearance at the Hollywood Palace Show (ABC US TV) on the 3rd of June, 1964
