Released on a No Label CDR, polished up by Captain Acid and pressed to silver by Eat A Peach, the September 16th 1973 show was only recently unearthed by a Facebook group and least to the internet from there.

The Dog N’ Cat label have made the decision to make this a 2 disk set, the first disk also features Billy Preston’s warm up set from earlier that night bringing us the fullest recording of the show that night.

  1. Paying the high price of a double CD (and DAC CDs are not cheap!) for getting just 31 short minutes of Billy Preston on one disc?? No thanks! I am not a Billy Preston fan, so why should I pay money for this silly release?

  2. The No Label label released the original tape/flac on a pressed CD. I have it. And there was also a CDR version…why anyone would want to buy the EAP or the Dork n’ Cat version is beyond me. Cleaned up? Computer enhanced? Not bloody likely. Apparently a whole lot of Stones collectors have a bunch of extra 1% cash laying around to blow on these CDs. Multiple releases, reissues, “remastered” from the same source …
