Again, facing down the other Japanese labels the Tarantura label have brought their own Clapton 2014 show to the fore –
“Front Row. Vol. 1” is a recording from Eric’s show on the 18th of February 2014 at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo. A new recording by Maiko as the title suggests, it was recorded right at the fort of the stage. The set is strictly limited to 100 copies and, if recent press coverage is to be believed, it could be Eric’s last tour to the far east
On a new budget label, ‘The Coven Records’, there is a release of the Stones show at the Hampton Coliseum, VA on the 19th of December, 1981. It’s not the first time the show has seen release but this version has been 32 bit digitally mastered to the labels own standards. The label is suggesting that more Clapton 2014 is to come with new releases by the Stones in 1970 and 2014 and more Led Zeppelin too.
