4 new Tarantura titles have just recently landed ..
The first is a new King Crimson release “Discipline In Asakusa” from the Asakusa Kokusai Gekijo, Tokyo, Japan. Recorded by our favourite Japanese taper Mr. Peach at 6:30 PM on Monday the 14th of December 1981.
There is also a new Gary Moore release under, what is being billed as a kind of Tarantura budget release; “Nice Price”, possibly because the show isn’t recorded by Peach and is a good way of getting people hooked on the brand.
The show is from Nagoya Shi Kokaido, Nagoya, Aichi Japan on Tuesday the 8th of October 1985.
Boston “Sakura 緊急発進” (Or Sakura scramble) is the second show from the same ‘Cherry Blossom’ tour that Tarantura recently re-released. This time we’re going back one night to the Budokan Dai Hall, Tokyo, Japan on the 18th of April 1979.
Finally “Welcome To New York .. On Mick’s Birthday” is another release of the Wednesday, 26th July 1972 show at Madison Square Garden, New York, NY, U.S.A.
Touted as a soundboard / audience matrix the bold claim seems to be that this is the definitive article on this LP.
William Stout is the other star of this piece having designed the cover (Not the one that has studded a thousand LPs and CDs) the package also includes a copy of the original TMOQ flyer.
