the new Floyd 2CD “Chicago 1973” by Sigma has been described as having “truly amazing/perfect sound”, and although those descriptions very often tend to exaggerate somewhat, i’d say that this particular one is rather consistent within their often-exaggerated SQ “rating system”. i just got it a few days ago late last week, and i’m quite pleased with everything about it, although it doesn’t have the 2 or 3 bonus tracks of “Childhood’s End” on the Highland version “Illusions of…..”, its SQ is a substantial upgrade over the old Highland release.
