stereo:  Love Me Do, Twist And Shout, Anna, Chains, Boys, Ask Me Why, Please Please Me, P.S. I Love You, Baby It’s You, A Taste Of Honey, Do You Want To Know A Secret

mono:  Love Me Do, Twist And Shout, Anna, Chains, Boys, Ask Me Why, Please Please Me, P.S. I Love You, Baby It’s You, A Taste Of Honey, Do You Want To Know A Secret

The Early Beatles was Capitol Record’s fifth release, issued on March 22nd, 1965.  This should have come out earlier but there were issues to work out with Vee Jay records over the UK Please Please Me LP.  This is a silver pressed edition of the MR release presenting both the stereo and mono mixes of the album.  The sound quality is excellent with the warmth of vinyl and is again flawless.

This includes eleven of the fourteen songs from Please Please Me with “I Saw Her Standing There” (included on the prior release Meet The Beatles), “Misery” and “There’s A Place” removed.  They appeared later on “Star Line” singles but didn’t show up on a US album until 1980.
