The Empress Valley label have just announced a band new multi CD boxed set, this time featuring Paul McCartney on his 2004 tour of Europe.
Taken from a set of soundboard recordings taped for an unreleased live album, “Endless Summer” features tracks from shows in France, Spain, Sweden, Portugal, Switzerland, Prague, Denmark, Norway, Finland and from Macca’s appearance at the Glastonbury festival in England.
It appears to centre around 6 tracks specifically – “I’ve Got A Feeling”, “Get Back”, “Penny Lane”, “All Things Must Pass”, “Let Me Roll It” and “Jet”.
The Empress Valley subsidiary, Green Apple, have submitted a release from 2014, Paul’s show in Sao Paulo, Brazil on the 25th of November.
After what seems like a while the Stringman label return with a handful of new Bob Dylan audience recordings from through out 2004;
“Norva Blues” is a tape from the Norva, VA in Norfolk, VA on the 6th of April, 2004.
“Million Miles From Toronto” was recorded at the Phoenix, Toronto, ON on the 20th March, 2004.
“Riviera Girls” is from the Riviera Theatre, Chicago, IL on March the 6th, 2004.
“All Along the Orange Peel” was taped at the Orange Peel, Asheville, North Caroline, CA on the 9th of April, 2004.
Finally, “Blind Willie McTell” comes from the The Diamond, Richmond, Virginia on August 15th, 2004.
