As things glide to a slow for the festive period, the releases still continue to drift in. Graff Zeppelin continue their re-issue programme with ‘Montreaux Casino 1971’.
A 2 CD copy of the Led Zeppelin show at the venue of that name – This is apparently not a remaster but a brand new transfer that brings out some of the tapes subtle nuances using updated techniques.
The Joanna label release their premier CD, ‘New York Folk Festival’. Nothing that hasn’t been released before on vinyl or CD but presented in chronological order. The first 100 copies also come with a DVDR of the video footage available from the shows.
