Two new ‘Pear’ releases announced!

The European Pear label have just announced two brand new releases today – The first, ‘Five Years Live’ is a CD / DVD set featuring live material between 1962-‘66 (*ahem*) – Video and audio material from the Cavern in Liverpool to the Budokan in Tokyo. Assuming there’s some nice upgrades to make this set worth the purchase unless you don’t own it already.

The second set is another mixed bag of ‘White Album’ alternates and outtakes – 5.1 mixes, studio chat, demos and oddities litter the set – No mention of anything new, we’ll just have to wait and see.

  1. Five Live Years
    • Pros
    • "Five Live Years" is not a new title. It was the very first release on the revamped "Pear Entertainment" label back in 2019. Is this now a re-release? With anything extra or upgraded?
    • Cons
    • The original release was rather underwhelming. If I recall, the Indy show was a poor remastered stereo job. I don't recalling there being any upgrades.

Also, would it be possible to post a clearer track listing for the White Album set? Thank you!
